All-new to our Alpine Classic portfolio is the beautiful Kikombe Lodge. This spacious apartment sleeps 10 over three floors, and is positioned on a peaceful road bordered by pine forests a 3-minute drive to the Galzigbahn and Rendlbahn lifts.
Decorated with rustic wood lovingly installed with signature Tyrolean craftsmanship, the whole apartment has an elegant, loft-like feel thanks to its vaulted, beamed ceilings. Traditional elements are blended with contemporary furnishings, resulting in a property with character and style.
The dining room offering views across to the Rendl ski area flows into the cosy living area, with the central wood-burning fireplace as the focal point. Ten can be seated around the solid wood table, a perfect spot to indulge in candle-lit dinners whipped up in the fully equipped open-plan kitchen.
Each bedroom features textured soft furnishings, subtle, tasteful colours and beautiful wooden finishes to create a cosy and inviting atmosphere. With plenty of storage space, en-suite bathrooms and the ability to be configured as emperor-sized doubles or twins, the rooms can accommodate groups of any kind, allowing everyone enough space and privacy to unwind.
There is a typical Swedish-style sauna and a massage room to decompress in after a day skiing the vast Arlberg area, and we can happily assist with booking in-chalet treatments, so that guests can enjoy a pampering afternoon in total comfort.
Kikombe Lodge is currently available for many weeks this winter season, including the Christmas and Easter weeks.
The first property in Austria to join our Lagom portfolio, Alpine Myth is a stylish apartment sleeping 8 across three doubles and one twin bedroom. Occupying the second floor of a modern apartment building just a 13-minute walk to the heart of St Anton and a 5-minute walk from the Nassereinbahn lift; you will be in a prime position to explore the resort with ease.
The open-plan living and dining space is centred around a wood-burning fireplace that can be enjoyed whether you’re curled up in front of the TV or sharing dinner together around the 8-seater dining table.
Playfully decorated with splashes of colour, statement lighting and carefully chosen art, the living room is flooded with sunlight during the day thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glass doors leading onto the balcony, which offers uninterrupted views across to the pine-forested hills and the mountains beyond.
The light, airy en-suite bedrooms also enjoy unspoilt mountain views and have been decorated with a calming neutral palate, so you’ll awaken refreshed and ready to hit the slopes!
There is also a private area dedicated to rest and relaxation adjacent to the bedrooms. With spa loungers, a sauna and a large jacuzzi-style bath with jets, you can retreat here to unwind after action-filled days on the mountain.
Alpine Myth is available for multiple weeks this winter season, currently including Christmas, New Year, February half term and Easter.
One of our most popular properties in St Anton, Chalet Almajur, has recently undergone a refurbishment.
Proving that sometimes the most subtle changes can be the most effective, some stunning wood panelling has been installed in the living and dining areas, enhancing the sophisticated interior. This simple addition really brings an extra layer of warmth and cosiness to a chalet, mirroring the wooden elements of the exterior and creating a cohesive feel throughout the property.
This beautiful home has also recently had a new en-suite double bunk room added, perfect for accommodating young guests. The property sleeps 10+2, making an ideal family escape in the heart of St Anton, with the Nasserein ski lift just a 4-minute stroll away.
The ski room, too, has had a makeover, with heated boot warmers and plenty of storage space for skis and jackets.
Last year’s World Ski Awards nominee for ‘Best Ski Chalet in Austria’ Villa Villekulla has rare availability for this Winter season.
This modern ski-in Alpine home marries the dramatic landscape with an airy, intuitively-designed interior utilising natural materials. Sleeping 12, and with the slopes just meters away, it is the perfect choice for a large group or family of mountain enthusiasts!
The picture-perfect, open-plan gathering space has been carefully designed for ultimate relaxation and socialisation and is bordered by a terrace and south-facing balcony, allowing guests to maximise the winter sunshine hours. Exuding modernity in its minimalistic yet high-end design, this is the perfect home to immerse yourself in the surrounding landscape.
This fantastic property is currently available for multiple weeks throughout the winter season, including for Christmas and Easter.
Celebrated for their state-of-the-art lift systems, Tyrolean architecture, rich cultural heritage and bountiful snowfall, our Austrian resorts have loyal fan bases who return season upon season.
Linked via the 305km Ski Arlberg piste network, Austria’s largest connected ski area, and both with their own unique characters and offerings, Lech and St Anton go hand-in-hand to make Austria the perfect ski holiday destination.
Our St Anton and Lech Resort Managers, Richard and Alen, share their insider knowledge on the perfect ski day in the Arlberg.
Piste Perfection
Having lived and worked in the Austrian Alps for years, they definitely have some tips on where they prefer to ski.
Snowboarder Richard says “Red 1 from Rendl is my favourite piste in St Anton. There is a cosy little bar at the end of the run that is a perfect place for schnapps.”
Alen’s top choice would be “from the Schlegelkopfbahn down to the town – a wide piste with perfect flow and stunning views over Lech”.
Lunch on the slopes
Known for its wealth of sun-drenched terraces and delicious cuisine, the Arlberg offers plenty of pitstops to refuel at during a ski day.
Richard, who is vegan, says “I like to stop at Arlberg Thaja in St Christoph for some tasty food or a hot chocolate with rum in the sun.”
Alen keeps his lunch order traditional, going for goulash, kaiserschmarrn and skiwasser, which he’d order “anywhere in Oberlech at one of the hotel terraces”
Austrian Après
St Anton is renowned for its vibrant on-mountain après scene, while Lech has a sophisticated selection of exclusive venues to try. With these resorts being neighbours, you can experience the best of both depending on your mood.
Richard says “the best après ski on the mountain is at Sennhütte. Unlike some of the bigger bars in St Anton, this place offers a more traditional but no less raucous party”
Alen recommends “Der Wolf, Lech, with it’s DJ sets and a varied menu.”
