Who will reign supreme as Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet 2017?

Switzerland exudes luxury and charm. From Verbier to Zermatt, the Swiss Alps are home to some of the most impressive chalets and apartments in the world. And in our portfolio, we are proud to have five nominations in the 2017 World Ski Awards for Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet.

With our headquarters in Verbier, Switzerland is where we excel. Our portfolios in Verbier and Zermatt are second to none and we are delighted to have a third of the nominations for this category sit in our Bramble Ski and Haute Montagne portfolios.

Among the 14 nominees for Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet, we are proud to feature some exceptional chalets, including Bella Coola, which took home the crown for this category back in 2014 and Chalet Aconcagua, an exciting new addition to our portfolio in Zermatt. Other strong finalists include Mon Izba, Truffe Blanche and Sirocco. Below, we take a closer look at the Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet nominees.

Chalet Aconcagua

Bella Coola

A genuine alpine masterpiece, Bella Coola is a standalone chalet and a standalone contender for this year’s Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet award. This private residence is located in the heart of Verbier, and sleeps up to 10 people across five individually designed bedrooms.

Endless space to relax or entertain, and a perfect blend of traditional Alpine woods, exceptional pieces of art, as well as sumptuous fabrics and furnishings, keeps guests returning time and time again. Mon Izba

With its elevated position on the edge of the sought-after Savoleyres area, this enchanting ski chalet is one of Verbier’s finest. No attention to detail is spared at Mon Izba; a blend of traditional architecture, opulent contemporary design, and comfy furnishings make this luxury property stand out from the rest.

Truffe Blanche

Sirocco

Not only is Sirocco nominated for ‘Switzerland’s Best Ski Chalet 2017’, it also features in the prestigious ‘World’s Best New Ski Chalet’ category, having won the title back in 2015 – and we think it has huge potential to take home both titles this year.
