The International Luxury Travel Market concludes its six events of the year with the big one in Cannes each December (this year it took place from December 1^st to 4^th). Kyoto, Cape Town, Rio, Shanghai, and Mexico precede it, but it is the ILTM in Cannes that is one of the most important dates of the year in the worldwide luxury travel industry.

We (Bramble Ski/Haute Montagne) attended for the first time this year setting up on the Switzerland Tourism stand. Thank you to Monica and Switzerland Tourism for facilitating this.

It was a whirlwind few days as 1,400 exhibitors and 1,400 buyers from across the planet gathered together in the famed French Riviera town to cement existing relationships and establish new ones. For Bramble Ski, the three days of organised meetings, as well as the extensive evening networking opportunities, was all about forging new relationships in new market segments.

It was also a fantastic opportunity to assess the state of the luxury travel industry beyond just the ski industry as well as the state of the worldwide economic climate.

We look forward to building the new relationships and friendships established and I’m certain that there will be many bookings to come over the course of the next year as a direct result of the meetings held in Cannes this year.
