The Alps Have Been Transformed With Fresh Snow: Write Your Winter Story

We have exciting news from the mountains: this past week, winter made its debut with the season’s first snowfall!

 Heavy snow began falling on Tuesday evening, continuing for several days until Friday afternoon, with over 50 cm of falling at the top of the Attleas lift in Verbier! We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the ski season. The peaks are covered in snow, and the pisteurs are busy preparing the slopes for the opening. 

All the resorts where Bramble Ski operates have been blanketed in snow. Switzerland experienced a significant snowfall, with Zermatt receiving nearly 60 cm and Verbier just over 50 cm. France also enjoyed heavy snowfall, with Val d’Isère reporting over 50 cm, Courchevel 30 cm, and Méribel 25 cm. Austria was no exception, with Lech receiving 50 cm and St. Anton reporting 44 cm.

This early snowfall bodes for a great season, hopefully with more snow to come this week and into December for resort openings. Start getting excited for your upcoming ski trip! Open the piste map and plan your route to ski all your favourite runs.
