Dining in Meribel

Experience fine dining, Savoyard specialties, and stunning mountain restaurants

Méribel, nestled in the heart of Les Trois Vallées, offers an exceptional dining experience that rivals any in the Alps. Whether you’re seeking a gourmet feast with breathtaking alpine views or a quick yet satisfying meal between ski runs, Méribel’s diverse selection of restaurants caters to every palate.

On-mountain recommendations

A top choice for on-the-mountain dining that guests return to time and time again is La Fruitière, part of La Folie Douce, which blends European cuisine with local alpine influences, creating a lively atmosphere that transitions perfectly into après-ski. Similarly, Maya Altitude offers a fusion of Spanish and Asian flavours alongside excellent steaks, with a panoramic terrace that occasionally hosts DJ sets and live music.

For an exceptional selection of meat dishes – The Beefbar, located at the luxurious Le Coucou hotel, offers a selection of mountain-inspired dishes with stunning panoramic views. The first Beefbar on the slopes, this renowned restaurant provides a signature culinary experience in a superb alpine location.

Another Meribel favourite is Lilie, a family-run restaurant offering gourmet food options in a trendy setting. Enjoy homemade dishes in a warm, rustic atmosphere by the fire or on the sun-soaked terrace overlooking the slopes. The bar serves wine by the glass or cocktails, and explore their wine cellar for an extensive choice of bottles. Choose a sit-down meal or explore the bistro’s takeaway options of fine cheeses and charcuterie.

For a relaxed mountain meeting spot, Le Rok at the Pad du Lac mid-station is the perfect spot for skiers and non-skiers to meet up. Serving a mix of modern meat and fish dishes as well as more traditional mountain food. In Courchevel 1650, Le Bel is a standout pick, providing an ideal spot for a leisurely lunch on its sun-drenched terrace—a favourite mountain pit stop.

For a unique dining experience, Clos Bernard is tucked away within the forest. Accessible by day by a short off-piste ski or in the evening book ahead and travel to the restaurant by horse-drawn carriage, guided through the forest by flame-lit torches. The menu features traditional Savoyard alpine choices in a cosy chalet setting, creating a memorable meal.

A final choice, a hidden gem known only to those in the know, is Le Blanchot is a Meribel treasure. Situated close to the pistes, it’s an ideal lunch spot for the whole family, featuring a diverse menu that caters to all tastes. Nestled within the Meribel golf course, Blanchot offers breathtaking mountain views and a serene natural setting, making it an excellent choice for a memorable dining experience.

The Méribel experience

Whether it’s a group reservation for a special occasion or a cosy dinner for two, our concierges are on hand to secure the best table at the restaurant that suits you. In the village, we love l’Ekrin, perfect for true foodies with a Michelin star and serving modern, creative dishes. Equally, Le Grand Coeur is a small restaurant offering Savoyard specialities—perfect after a day exploring the mountains.

Aux Petits Oignons is a welcoming bistro, perfect for a warm lunch with its roaring log fire and traditional French cuisine. Finally, for those craving something different, Tsaretta Spice provides a modern take on Indian cuisine, quickly becoming a favourite for its spice-infused meals and innovative menu.
