Nightlife in Verbier

A Guide to après-ski and late night dancing

Verbier’s nightlife offers something for everyone, from intimate wine bars serving local vintages to lively pubs perfect for the après-ski experience. No matter your preference, there’s a perfect spot waiting for you to enjoy before retreating to your luxury chalet.

Après-ski hotspots in Verbier

Known worldwide for its skiing, Verbier’s, Switzerland also shines when it comes to après-ski and late-night dancing. After a day on the slopes, the town transforms into a vibrant hub with a variety of après-ski bars, cosy pubs, and clubs for those who want to carry on into the night. Whether you’re looking for the best spot on the mountain for sundowner drinks or a fun night filled with dancing and live music, Verbier’s nightlife promises something for everyone.

One of Verbier’s most scenic terraces is at Le Mouton Noir at La Ruinette. We recommend stopping by for a drink on your way down the mountain. You’ll enjoy stunning views as the sun sets behind the peaks, with paragliders soaring overhead. For a lively après-ski vibe, head to Le Rouge at the bottom of the Le Rouge piste. With daily DJs, shotskis, and dancing, it’s a fantastic spot to end up after a long lunch on the sunny terrace.

Next, make your way to Le Farinet, a true Verbier institution. Unlike your typical après-ski setting, we highly recommend swapping your ski boots for your après shoes for this one. With live music playing the tunes we all know and love, get ready to dive into the fun and dance the night away.

Nightlife in Verbier: carrying on the party

As the night progresses, Verbier offers plenty of options to keep the party going. Head to Shed Verbier, where live DJs create a lively atmosphere while you enjoy their famous burgers. If you’re in the mood for something more upscale, Taratata in Verbier is a steak and tapas-sharing restaurant with a cocktail bar and cigar lounge. Book the second seating around 20:00, and you’ll be treated to a DJ set that transforms the evening into a vibrant party, perfect for dancing and dessert.

For those who want to dance the night away, descend underground to South, Le Farinet’s velvet-cloaked sushi restaurant-turned-club. With its eclectic mix of music and intimate setting, South promises a memorable night out in Verbier.

No night out in Verbier is complete without a visit to the iconic Farm Club. Founded in 1971, this legendary club has been a staple of Verbier’s nightlife for decades, offering an unmatched atmosphere and the chance to dance late into the night.
