Zermatt skiing : Explore this Alpine paradise

Discover Zermatt, home to the iconic Matterhorn, with its breathtaking landscapes and excellent year-round skiing.

Vast mountain terrain waiting to be explored

With over 14 glaciers and 38 peaks rising above 4,000m in the region, the resort is a favourite ski location for many simply due to its unforgettable scenery. Our luxury chalets in Zermatt offer an ideal retreat after a day spent exploring the 350km of pistes and sampling the incredible on-mountain restaurants. The lift system, featuring 53 lifts, seamlessly connects to Rothorn, Gornergrat, and the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, offering fantastic terrain for intermediate and advanced skiers, along with off-piste itineraries. As one of Europe’s most snow-sure destinations, Zermatt skiing guarantees fun on the slopes – and with the connection to the Italian resort of Cervinia, you could even dip a toe in Italy for a day and enjoy truffle tagliatelle for lunch!

Mountain guiding and heli-skiing

With Zermatt’s heavily glaciated landscape, the best way to experience the challenging off-piste skiing is with a Mountain Guide. Many have skied in Zermatt all their lives and know the off-piste like the back of their hands and can find something to test the most experienced skiers. We can arrange this for you with our network of experienced guides to ensure you maximise your time on the mountain.

For the definitive ski or snowboard experience, we would be delighted to book you a heli-skiing trip. Zermatt skiing offers some incredible terrain only easily accessed by a helicopter including the Monte Rosa, the Aschorn, and the Alphubeljoch. Helicopter sightseeing is also an incredible way to view the mountains surrounding Zermatt and allows a unique perspective of the Matterhorn.
