Santa baby, hurry down the chimney tonight!

We are feeling all Christmassy here at Bramble HQ and wanted to share with you our favourite fireplaces in the Bramble collection for hanging up those Christmas stockings!

In at number five…Chalet Opale, Tignes.

Okay, so this may not be the classic huge-chunk-of-reclaimed-wood mantelpiece that screams ‘ski chalet’ but you have to agree that this is a pretty remarkable fireplace, adorned as it is by a stunning sculpture by Lorenzo Queen. There must be somewhere to hang a stocking here!

Next, in fourth position, Chalet Tesseln, Verbier.

This is just the kind of chalet you would imagine George and Co. mincing about in,  in the “Last Christmas” era.  This chalet is just oozing Christmas charm and look at that fireplace… stocking heaven.

Sliding into the number three spot, Chalet Maria Schnee, St. Anton.

This fireplace is just made for curling up infront of. The weather outside may be frightful but this is one delightful fireplace. Surrounded by cosy armchairs and books aplenty, your stockings will look just perfect hanging here!

Hotting up the chart at number two, Ma Datcha, Mégeve.

This fabulous living room in e warmest room in Villars snuggles around this gorgeous fireplace, any little drummer boy would be delighted to discover his stocking hanging here.  We love the wood-panelled walls in this chalet too as they really add a traditional flavour to celebrations.

And our number one fireplace goes to Chalet les Lutins, Verbier.

This glorious hunk of fireplace is #madeforstockings. Like a baronial hall, the living room has a minstrels gallery which overlooks Christmas proceedings.  We love this room for so many reasons but the fireplace has really stolen our hearts! Its stone hearth and beautiful wooden mantelpiece are, without doubt, the answer to our Christmas wishes, we’re hanging our stockings here, and there’s plenty of room for Santa baby to hurry down that chimney too!
